Guess it's time to introduce Ariel, my british shorthair cat. She's a girl and turning 2 this month... She was brought into my home when she is 6 months old... My perfect cat.. slightly aloof, well it all depends on her mood..

Curse of the golden flower

Just watched this last evening.. Have to say was a little disappointed by the show, more because of the storyline.. But the movie sets are oh so colourful and intricate. Nice costume designs too, especially the armours. It seems that recent chinese period movies are veering towards the "looks-extravagant-that-everything-else-dun-matter" philosophy.

• Storyline : Beats the british royal family's scandal any day!!!
• Deathcount : Uncountable!! soldiers die like termites having their home destroyed by 50 ant-eaters.
• Bloodcount : prolly a few thousand litres of blood splattered.
• cleavage-count : hundreds of nubile chicks having their boobies squeezed out of their costumes.
• Best death : the third prince beaten to a pulp by the king using his golden belt.. Priceless.

This the season to be a good baddie!!!

Totally useless things #1 The Amazing Humping Dogs

Trust someone to come out with something like this.. Oh yah, the dogs reaLLY hump when u plug them into a USB port.. Too bad it's not a flash drive, just something that could really turn your mundane life more mundane.. But it;s good fun!!! Dog lovers, please, no offense.......

My first christmas presents arrived!!!!

OH!!!! Christmas presents have arrived... Got these from my colleagues... Kinda early, but i aint't complaining.. i'll just curb the urge to open them up till next friday.. damned, i am a victim of commercialism!!! Anyway i'll be away from work from 23rd dec till 3rd jan next year.. Woot!!!! long long holidays for me...











Just a pic of my fave ciggy.... Marlboro, Marlboro, what will i do without you!? i have to say, the camera of the sony ericsson W850i is pretty sucky for dim lighting shooting.. Pics are laden with noise ( have to use editing tools to remove the noise). Worse is the macro function (or the lack of it), cant take closed up shots, and NO AUTOFOCUS!!! Pics are acceptable only under bright sunlight.. Sigh...

Nice building in unexpected place

Was heading to the durian joint when i chanced upon this building in Geylang. The colours and painted motifs really catched my eyes. Can't really make out what are the chinese words (my chinese sux big time). Friends did told me it's some Tibetan organisation, which since it's closed, am not sure what exactly is happening inside.. We ended up enjoying our durians in front of the building. See those people sitting in the pic, yah, we were there 5 minutes after this taking this pic. :)

Sudden DEATH

Another sudden death case. Should be the 7th case for the last 2 months.. wonder how many cases are left unreported. Seemingly healthy people just fall dead for no reasons.. Sounds like apocalypse comin? Ain't it scary just thinking that it might happen to u? like what if u will not wake up from your sleep tonite? what if u drop dead while waiting for your MRT and coincidentally fall into the tracks and a train bang into u(anyway, u are dead by that time) and cause another train stoppage(this time along the eastern line). Dammit, i haven't fill up my CPF nomination form!!! gotta do it soon!!! Who shall have my toy collection? Who will take cust0dy of Ariel(my british shorthair cat)?? thinking of these makes my balls strink..
