Ok this is a Wireless cell phone antenna that boosts reception and helps to eliminate dropped calls. Nope the point of this post is not if this works or do we really need this. But, what the hell is the company or designer even thinking? I mean, it's amazing this design is able to survive from sketching to production stage without any strong objection from anyone in the company, is a miracle by itself.. I am sure everyone will find the resemblance of a tombstone or a tablet which chinese use for ancestral worship? I seriously think the designer must be missing his old hometown, his family and his ancestors to come out with something like this.. even the stand of the product looks exactly like the tablet (see below).As designers, i think we should exercise more responsibilities on the things that we design, and show some tactfulness and creativity in our works.. For me, the design of this product gets a "FUCK OFF" award..
